It seems like a while, that no one has heard any new music from Soulja, and now the wait is soon over. The new album that's been pushed back, and shelved is in the works, and soon to be released. After the release of "I am the Present" mixtape, a sequel mixtape was promised. Which at the time was suppose to feature SDIMG artist The Kid, and L3GEND along with Soulja.
But, due to a build of projects the mixtape was shelved. So that the collaborating artist could work on other projects of their own. L3GEND went on to finish wrapping up a mixtape with Meta4ical Click along with The Kid, and also another solo mixtape for himself.
Myself, I went on to collaborate with unsigned artist Taz, and drop "Everywhere" single, and release a few other songs like "Feel Good (Remix)" which is originally Nappy Boy's female group Sophia Fresh song, but with a add verse of yours truly. The remaining tracks from "I am the Present 2" mixtape will go into the label's mixtape "Reign" which should be coming out some time soon.
That will feature a remix of "Everywhere" with Yung Rocky, and L3GEND. And, a few more other songs that was released as snippets for "I am the Present 2" mixtape. Once, that's released the first single from the upcoming "Street Creditability: The Second Coming" album will be released.
All this will take part sometime during the fall/winter time. The haitus was to enjoy the summer, and take a break from crazy schedules to reach the release dates, and all that. So once the summer is over, the work will begin, and new music will start coming out. That's a promise from me to all the listeners.
